The name “Mobius” refers to any invert done on wakeboard with a full 360 degree rotation. The rotation however, has to be done by way of handle pass. An olé flip or invert such as a Whirlybird isn’t referred to as a Mobius but is still a 360 invert. Olé flips typically aren’t as hard as handle pass flips because there is really no risk of losing the handle since there is no pass behind the back involved. The handle and rope are simply swung over head to complete the rotation. Some of the Mobes in the following sections can be hard or easy depending on when you have to pass the handle to complete the rotation. A Crow Mobe’s handle pass can be done as the riders feet hit the water for the landing making it a very easy 360 invert if you are good at riding and landing blind on that side. Others can be difficult because there may be two handle exchanges even though the entire flip only has 360 degrees of rotation. Find and try the 360 invert below related to the 180 invert that you already have most consistent. This should be the easiest path to landing your first Mobe or 360 flip.
